It’s a coffee shop with a difference. Here you can sit, sip your coffee and well, read a book. That’s Brewberrys for you.

The place doesn’t have a concept of chefs — apparently the waiters at the place know how to prepare all of the items from the menu, which flaunts sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, fried sausages — the list is big.

The sweet tooth enthusiast has her brownies, cakes, pastries and ice creams. And the food does taste good.

The menu has a lot of “brews” to choose from — both hot and cold, right from the old espresso and latte to Assam and Darjeeling tea.

And they have icy slushes and iced teas to beat the heat.

A franchisee of the Brewberrys group of cafes, the outlet at Ulubari is about a year-and-a-half old.

The book stacks have fiction in all genres — drama, biographies and Assamese novels.

On the sound front, they organise music gigs often. Also expect the occasional book-reading session.

“We also plan to introduce a salad bar in the coming days and combo meals like an English breakfast with one’s choice of tea and coffee,” Lalit Toshani, the owner of the franchisee, told **t2**.

So just chill…as you sit, talk, eat, read and while away time.
